Claire O’Leary is a special breed of athlete. She podiumed at Unbound in 2023 and the Iowa Gravel Series in 2022 and she has since started the Driftless Gravel Camp. The camp is “to encourage and equip FTW (femme/trans/women) riders to pursue gravel adventures and races through three days of supported adventure rides, skills clinics, and off-bike lessons.” And, it’s a pretty neat thing.
There are a few mistakes I made in this episode. First off, Claire podium’d at Waukon in 2022, not 2021. And there are a couple other things I get corrected on thankfully; must be the end of the year and time for me to take a long winter nap.
